Do not update the software because (Bluestacks version 2 and 3) require Virtualization Technology to be enabled after the update. And the surroundings are vastly different from this one.
When I’m running an app, my screen goes black, why?
Black screen means your GPU or a specific App from the Bluestacks it’s not working properly. You must update your CPU and GPU driver, if you have laptop you must update first your CPU driver because GPU driver can’t be activate if CPU graphic driver is not installed.
Nvidia GPU – After the update, go to nVidia Control Panel, head towards Manage 3D Settings – Program Settings – Click Add button and add Bluestacks. Scroll down and turn off the threaded optimization option.

AMD GPU – After the update, go to Catalyst Control Settings, head towards Gaming – 3D Application Settings – Click Add button and add Bluestacks. Scroll down and turn off the threaded optimization option.
